An old man and woman walked to a river near their home. The sky shone blue. The river water danced and sang in the light. The warm air touched their skin. Then they saw something big in the water. It bounced — round and pink in the river.
“What a big peach!” said the old man. They pulled the peach from the water. “Oh, it’s so heavy,” they said. But they carried it home with big smiles on their faces.
