Doctor Harlow made a game. On a box, he put a lock. To open the box, you had to open the lock. When the game was ready, Harlow didn't give it to children. He gave it to monkeys. Then he watched what happened.
Within days, the monkeys opened it. No one showed them what to do. No one paid the monkeys to play. The monkeys didn't get food when they opened the box. The monkeys played with the box because they just wanted to open it.
