The Baptism of Pocahontas

In 1613, the English took Pocahontas from her family and people. They wanted to use her to get an agreement with the Indians. When the English were holding Pocahontas, a man fell in love with her. His name was John Rolfe. He asked for her hand in marriage, and the leader Powhatan agreed. Powhatan wanted to make peace with the English.
