Thomas Edison had a big idea. He wanted to make a light. He worked day and night. He made many mistakes. The light did not turn on. He tried again and again. People said, “You can’t do it.” 

But Edison did not stop. He made a new plan. He worked one more time. Then it happened. The light came on! The room was full of light. Edison smiled. People said, "Wow!" The world saw something new. Edison lit the room. Then he lit the world.
