ReadOasis Step 2

Three policemen walked quietly up the stairs. They looked at each other and made a hand signal. Then Frank walked up to the door. He pulled out his gun, and then he knocked. 

When the door opened, Frank pushed inside. But a chain held the door shut. On the inside, a man pushed back, crushing Frank’s hand. Frank felt hot fear fill his face.
