ReadOasis Step 3

A long time ago, two boys went fishing in a small river. They were in a heavy boat with a flat bottom. Each boy had a long, fishing rod in his hands. They sat in the boat, eagerly waiting for the fish to bite.

When they wanted to move the boat, they had to use a pole. In other words, they pushed with a long stick. The long stick reached the bottom of the stream, and they pushed!
