There was a poor man who lived in Scotland. His work was to care for the sheep. His name was James Hogg. His family also worked as shepherds. He took care of a rich man’s sheep. They belonged to Eric Water. Sometimes he had many baby sheep to look after. He took them to the grassy hills. He watched them every day while they ate the short green grass.
