The green alien that had captured me walked toward me. He said in a clear voice:
"TARS TARKAS -- TARS TARKAS.”
As he spoke, he pointed to his own chest. He was telling me his name! I pointed to my chest and said: “John Carter.”
He turned and said, “Sola.” Immediately, an alien woman came close. He spoke to her. She led me to another building and into a large room.
