There were two Cocks on the same farm. They fought to decide who should be master. When the fight was over, the loser went and hid himself in a dark corner.

The winner flew up to the roof of the barn. He called out in a strong and proud voice. But an Eagle saw him from high up in the sky. The Eagle flew down and carried him off. Immediately after he was gone, the other Cock came out of his corner and ruled the farm without a rival.
